Into The Heart Space through Embodied Yoga & Cacao

Into the Heart Space is a heart-led embodied yoga and cacao ceremony, held in sacred circle and guided by Ashlyn. This gathering is an invitation to slow down, soften, and return to the quiet wisdom of the heart - through movement, stillness, sound, touch, and plant medicine.

Those who arrive will be gently smudged before entering the space, honouring the ceremonial cacao and clearing what is ready to be released. The circle is held with care, intention, and Reiki, creating a grounded and supportive container for the journey ahead.

The ceremony opens with a heart-centred anointing ritual. Each person will be offered a mini rollerball of Ashlyn’s Heart Chakra Aromatherapy Blend, applied to pulse points and the palms, and breathed in slowly - allowing the nervous system to settle and the heart space to gently awaken. This blend is designed to support openness, trust, gentleness, and emotional release, weaving together ylang-ylang, rosemary, petitgrain, marjoram, lavender, and clary sage.

Ashlyn will then guide you through intuitive, embodied yoga - movement that is felt rather than shaped - alongside breathwork.

From this place, the circle will be invited to receive ceremonial Mayan cacao, honoured and shared with reverence. The cacao supports presence, heart connection, and deep listening - opening the way for the embodied journey that follows.

You will then be guided into meditation through the steady rhythm of the drum. The drum acts as a guide, carrying you inward and gently leading you home to the heart.

Throughout the gathering, Ashlyn will move through the circle offering hands-on Reiki, supporting integration, rest, and energetic balance. Each person will also work with a Reiki-charged Rose Quartz crystal, held during heart-centred practices and meditation, and gifted to you to take home - continuing the intention of the ceremony beyond the space.

Angel cards will be offered as a gentle closing reflection, providing a message of support and insight to carry with you.

To close the ceremony, additional time is held for integration and grounding. A calming herbal tea blend will be shared - a floral infusion created by a local medical herbalist for Medicine Tree, featuring rose, lemon balm, betony, skullcap, lavender, and passionflower. This final 15 minutes is an open, unhurried space to arrive back into the body, rest, reflect, share if you wish, or simply sit in stillness as the experience settles.

This is a ceremony of remembering. A coming back to yourself, and a soft reconnection with the shared heart of those gathered alongside you.

​What is ceremonial cacao

Ceremonial cacao, a plant medicine served in the form of a drink. Cacao is known for its beautiful heart opening properties, that will support you to the door of opportunity, lovingly without pressure.

Cacao has been used in ancient ceremonies throughout mesoamerica for at least 5,000 years, serving as a tool for connecting to the energetic space of your heart as well as those around you. We will be using the Mayan cacao connected through Ashlyn's linage.

*Ceremonial doses of Cacao are not recommended for somebody who is taking antidepressants (Cacao contains MAO inhibitors), has a serious heart condition, has very high blood pressure or suffers epilepsy. Please speak to your doctor if you consider taking ceremonial doses of Cacao in any of these cases. Raw Cacao contains Histamine. Pregnant women should take smaller amounts.

Ashlyn is a yoga teacher, cacaoista, Master Reiki practitioner, holistic remedial massage therapist, qualified aromatherapist, crystal healer, and sound healing practitioner.

The ceremonial cacao shared in this gathering is Mayan cacao, held and served with reverence and connected through Ashlyn’s maternal lineage. Her work weaves together years of training across therapeutic bodywork, energy healing, plant medicine, aromatherapy, crystal therapy, and sound - bringing these modalities together with integrity and intention.
