About the event
Begin the new year not with pressure or striving, but with softness, rest and deep nourishment. This special January Candlelight Yin Yoga offers you a gentle invitation to land in the year slowly, honouring the ongoing quiet wisdom of winter.
Held in a warm, softly glowing candlelit space, this 90-minute practice is designed to support you as you exhale the busyness of December and return to yourself. Jen will guide you through a deeply restorative yin sequence with long, meditative holds that gently work into the connective tissues - supporting joint health, circulation, flexibility and energetic balance.
Yin Yoga is a profoundly calming practice for the nervous system, helping to soothe the mind, soften held tension and invite the body into deep receptivity. This practice is the perfect antidote to post-festive fatigue, overwhelm, and the urge to rush into the year ahead.
Rather than setting rigid resolutions, this session offers space to:
Reconnect with your body
Gently listen inward
Set soft, intuitive intentions for the months ahead
Restore balance and steady your energy for the winter season
To close, we’ll gather for warming herbal tea and rich dark chocolate, grounding the practice and allowing the benefits of rest to fully settle. You’ll leave feeling nourished, steadied and gently reset—ready to meet the new year from a place of calm rather than depletion.
This is your time to:
Slow down. Soften. Restore. Begin again - gently.
