Inner Radiance Day Retreat - Sunday 8th September
As we see the warmer and radiant days of summer come to an end and welcome the cooling transition of the first touches of Autumn, join us as we explore our own inner radiance through; yoga, meditation, food, treatments, flowers & herbs.
10.15am: Arrival, find your mat, enjoy a ginger shot and meet your fellow yogi's.
10.30am: Through a heart opening flow, we will cultivate an attitude of gratitude and inner radiance and allow all the inner riches to flow, we will cultivate deep acceptance and love for all parts of us to allow us to shine our authentic light. This will be a slow and mindful vinyasa flow practice, cultivating mind, body awareness ending with pranayama.
12pm: A delicious and colourful vegetarian lunch and pudding catered by Kim Parsons the author of 'The Yoga Kitchen'. Along with tasty treats from Eat n' Mess and plenty of refreshments, from herbal teas to botanical waters.
Over the lunch period, herbal teas and and snacks will be available, with a chance to relax in the beautiful gardens and book a 15minute reflexology or indian head massage with on site therapists. We will also be holding a pop-up shop where there will be 20% off on all Fisical mind & body products on the day, as well as beautiful honey & shea balms which are dreamy for lips & chapped skin; facial mists; facial oils made by Eminé for you to explore over the lunch/free time.
1.15pm: Learn how to make a foraged flower & herb facial steam. With Eminé’s guidance, choose your own selection of dried wild flowers, herbs & essential oils, for an exquisitely scented steam, that can be used after cleansing as a therapeutic skin-soothing treatment – bespoke your blend for congested, oily, sensitive or dehydrated skin, and learn how to use your blend before gentle extractions, facial massage, or simply as a restorative practice, before bedtime.
2.30pm: A journey through a soothing yin flow to nurture and nourish the system on all levels. A combination of floor based postures to promote relaxation, stretch the deeper yin tissues, strengthen the immune system and soothe the nervous system - bringing balance to body, heart and mind. Ending in a guided meditation.
3.30pm: Herbal teas and optional snacks to enjoy and take away or take another chance to explore the Fisical mind & body pop-up shop 20% discount. Before taking a goodie bag home filled with treats!
Mats, blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters will all be provided for the ultimate relaxing restorative class.
